Pilates
Pilates is a system of exercises devised by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, which, when done consistently, results in better strength, flexibility, posture, and mental awareness. Rather than coming out of a workout feeling exhausted, this set of exercises, performed on the mat in a set order, results in a feeling of refreshment, and centeredness. Along with serving students new to Pilates, this class will also challenge the intermediate student, as you practice the details of the method and fine tune your technique.

Pilates Sculpting Series
A 6-week summer session for those new to Pilates or for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the fundamentals. Claudia will cover the basic seven mat work exercises of classic Pilates in a safe progressive sixweek series. The principles of Pilates mat work are designed to sculpt, tone and strengthen your body by building your physique week by week. Your instructor, Claudia Neuman, is committed to support each woman's personal goals and work towards them. Claudia offers her students the expertise of many years of teaching Pilates, and supports them to exceed their own expectations. Pilates Core Challenge
Try our new core-based pilates mat workout incorporating the use of a small ball to engage more muscles and get better alignment. In this 10-week series you will learn how to inhance your traditional pilates workout with the use of a small ball for an added challenge to your core and stabilizer muscles. Certified Pilates instructor, Janet Richards will share her experience and love of Pilates as you learn new Pilates moves and share laughs. Improve your strength, balance, flexibility and overall posture in this 10-week series.
Introduction to Pilates Mat
Pilates floor work exercises strengthen and stretch your entire body while decompressing your spine and improving posture, leaving you energized and refreshed. Our beginner mat tenweek series introduces you to the principles of the Pilates Method while waking up your deep abdominal and spinal muscles and teaching you how to modify the workout to a level appropriate for you. Janet Richards, certified Pilates instructor, will provide individual attention and and a supportive environment to make even brand-new beginners feel at ease.”
