Blue Heron Tai Chi/Chi Gong Mini-Series

Blue Heron Tai Chi/Qigong is a synthesis of qigong (chi kung), tai chi, yoga, and mindfulness meditation practices which provide a system that enhances and maintains the health of the entire body, mind and spirit. The muscular-skeleton system is stretched and toned, the organ systems are balanced and energized, and the mind is cleared and focused. In this 4week mini series you will learn this restoring series. It helps to improve balance, strength, organ functions, and over all well being. Tai Chi and Qigong practices are done standing and moving gently through the space around you to clear any blockages in the body and in the energy field. Pilates Core Challenge

Try our new core-based pilates mat workout incorporating the use of a small ball to engage more muscles and get better alignment. In this 10-week series you will learn how to inhance your traditional pilates workout with the use of a small ball for an added challenge to your core and stabilizer muscles. Certified Pilates instructor, Janet Richards will share her experience and love of Pilates as you learn new Pilates moves and share laughs. Belly Dance Series

Experience multi-dimensional belly dance! This 6-week series offers a traditional belly dance class plus chi gong inspired moving meditations, or "Bellygong". Our dance form consists of powerful, ancient movements from various belly dance roots and stylizations, including American Tribal and Cabaret, traditional Middle Eastern and Indian Folkloric, and new contemporary Folk fusions. This dance is an evolving community conversation that brings joy to the heart, strength and grace to the body and calm confidence to the mind. In the Bellygong training we incorporate breath and focus on specific acupuncture points with our movements. We experience relaxation, better body awareness, and a current of healing connection with ourselves, our dance partners, the music and our world. Together we will learn to move in a state of harmony that transforms both dancers and audience, bringing a new depth to the dance and enhanced vibrancy, health and a holistic understanding to the collective body-mind. Infants Itsy Bitsy Yoga (newborn to precrawlers) is a calming and nurturing yoga practice, offering ways to make babies happier and more comfortable with their bodies. Intro to Kettlebells: Dynamic Strength Training

Build on flexibility gained in your yoga practice and stabilize your joints with "Kettlebells." This 8-week introductory class will provide the foundation for a safe and productive kettlebell workout. A 'kettlebell' or girya is a traditional Russian cast iron weight that looks like a cannonball with a handle. Kettlebell workouts increase strength, endurance, agility and balance, challenging both the muscular and cardiovascular system with dynamic, total-body movements. Synergy Dance Series

Move your body and connect with your own healing potential in this 6 week summer series. SynergyDance is a movement therapeutics class based on working deep within the body on the subtle energies that are manifested into the five elements and their associated patterns and body parts based on principles of Polarity Therapy. The class begins with deep stretching and still motion principles, activating deep energetic circuits within, and then the second part of class is expressive dance when we dance through the associated movements and emotional states of the elements. By moving through these elements consciously, participants make such concepts tangible, and can use this newfound knowledge to identify the causes of energy blocks and bring them to awareness, earning Synergy’s floor work high praise over the years from doctors, chiropractors, cranial-sacral therapists and energy practitioners. Pulling Down the Moon: A Yoga for Fertility Program
